I personally think splitscreen should of been included, it goes back to the beginning of the franchise. I'd rather not buy a separate system and screen/monitor just to play with my brother or friend who's at my house

>No Split screen Those words trigger me for some reason, eh to bad H5 is out of my game list for this year. Hopefully they add it in the future, maybe my brother will get interested in it if it gets it. -
I've never noticed a graphical change in split screen but then again I can't see sh** so

Slit screen was/is one of my favorite parts of Halo. I have always enjoyed playing with my friends/siblings on the same TV, and I know a lot of other people have as well. With halo 4, whenever I played split screen, the quality of the graphics suffered. I personally didn't mind this, as I wanted to play with another person locally.

Edited by Paul1e001: 8/2/2015 12:07:15 AMIf halo 5 has a split scene mode it will come at the cost of either significantly deteriorated pixel count OR frame rate in the main game. Most people now play solo at home and multiplayer online. Split screen is very last gen and there really is no place for it now
-
You need an i dont care either way option.

It's a new age of gaming, split screen is becoming more obsolete. Granted Halo 5 should've added it, but they'd have to reduce the quality of the game. Imagine how many people would flip if this game went to 30fps/720p...

Ever since Halo 3, it's been a tradition each time a new Halo comes out for my brother, my dad, and me to sit down on a Saturday and run through the entire campaign on Legendary. Halo 3, ODST, Reach, and Halo 4. Now we won't be able to do that. I'd take splitscreen over 60 FPS any day. Enjoying video games matters far more that graphics.
-
I mean it's nice to have... But if it is not there it's not going to hurt me either. I'd like to see what they put to take it out... However watching real gameplay , the graphics alone seems like alot
-
(Make sure you load the video in 1080p 60FPS) You can FEEL the difference even when you're not playing it. Your eyes feel better when you're watching 60FPS. Stop denying it. It feels good. It plays good. You'll be thanking 343i.

I haven't used split screen in years.
-
If it means sacrificing 1080p resolution and 60FPS during gameplay, then no it should not.
-
I hope they at least add it in an update.

Edited by perinski93: 8/1/2015 6:58:04 PMIf people actually paid attention to their reasoning behind the decision then they wouldn't be complaining
-
That's the reason I'm not buying it there are to many games now that me and my friends can play together anymore

Yes, but there are reasons they made that tough decision.
