Uninstall 10 and wait a month or two. It's actually fine for me but it seems a lot of people are experiencing bugs I think it dropped hot for some reason

  • Yuup. Pretty sure 10 doesn't completely override your old OS. For a month, anyway. >Settings >Update and Security >Recovery >Go Back to Windows X That should do it, I think o:

  • The window closes before I can get to that. CPU usage shoots up to 100% and that's when shit start flashing. By far the largest user is iCloud photos, so I just hit delete. Now everything appears to be working fine. Restarting it now to check. There's been some dodgy shit with permissions with iCloud photos since the second time I started W10, keeps popping up every time. I googled that and it appears to e a widespread bug that folks are waiting on Apple to get rid of. So I figured I'd just ignore it. Anyway, let's have a look... -blam!-. Clicked on Start and it's happening again.

  • Really strange! Sounds broken. Try booting in safe mode I suppose? And then go from there. If that doesn't work... then you'll probably just have to deal with it until MS starts rolling out patches. I don't even know :(

.....Seems alright.... Well, I can't be bothered to do anything else with it for now, so I guess I'll find out more tomorrow. Seems to have fixed itself. Hopefully Apple can work out a solution to the iCloud photo problem, though just plugging the thing in won't be a massive problem for now. Assuming, of course, it doesn't try to install the app again.

  • Settings has frozen. Time for another forced shutdown.
