They will not drop the restriction.... This is a temporary ban... And no investigation will be done. They stated it.

Yeah I get that but an actual reason would be nice. I haven't intentionally done anything wrong, I'd rather not get banned for a repeat offense of what ever it was that I did

Yeah shitty connection and Xbox was being really bad a couple of days ago, problem on their end apparently. I also ran trials last weekend with two people I'd never played with before and apparently they've been banned, don't t know if it's a permanent one or not, nothing seemed fishy but I'm wondering if it's a guilty by association thing

Ok this is not a permanent ban, you are lucky. I would recommend if you play with people you don't know, then be careful. If it happens to you again, they can actually ban you for a long time. or even permanently.

I have given that answer before, when it was obvious they were cheating. But you seem like you honest. So I am not sure about you.

Guilty by association is in effect , hence your ban . Pick your friends better or if you know there cheating , don't play with them

No knowledge of them cheating before during or after we'd done it. Until now of course but I'm still skeptical they did actually do something

Yup , it's shitty but look at it from bungies point of view . It doesn't take an entire team of lag switchers to win , just one . So they have to ban everyone as they assume collusion. It would be pretty obvious during match to be honest though

The only thing I can think of is one team left while we were still in orbit and we got a win for it, other than that they were all over the other teams! I don't think they would have had time do -blam!- with any thing

Edited by alant27: 8/1/2015 9:35:06 AMThat doesn't count for a win when they leave in orbit (from destinys tracking point of view ). 2 of your 17 trials victories , teams left during the match for whatever . If it was network manipulation , then that's why your banned .

According to your stats , and I have no idea if the two quits by teams were manipulation (as some teams do genuinely leave mid match if there getting beat badly). Bungie have all the stats , but one guy got reinstated after a mistaken ban so maybe there is an issue , who knows

Yes you should permanently remove them from your friends. Just be careful man. You have nice characters. Losing them will be a pain the ass. Good luck guardian.
