Best way to evade those is to wait like 1 minute in some corner. After that most rockets will be gone. Then you're up.

I don't understand the rocket obsession. Maybe get 2-3 kills vs a machine gun that could stretch to 10 and give your team more points

Rockets: - takes no skill with grenades and horseshoes - can kill cross map - don't have to be exposed Machine Guns: - need to be exposed to deal damage - can get outgunned by TLW - actually takes aim - shorter range Yes, I agree that machine guns can get you more kills. The problem is that with overpowered primaries, shotguns, supers, grenades, rockets, etc it's much harder to get full use out of a machine gun than a rocket launcher. When First Light and Bastion were in the playlist machine guns were great because you got so much mileage out of them. But now with the maps generally being smaller, you're just more likely to die from random crap.
