Jeez Cat, this was kind of hard to answer. Okay, so House of Ash has been since before the Whirlwind, when The Eliksni were still noble creatures. Their fighting style is to use what's around them to gain the best advantage over the enemy, they are strategically reckless. In space combat they use they're War Ketches to lead another Ketch or two. The War Ketches have immense firepower and are only made and used by The Ash and space combat is not very threatening as they dominate the battle most of the time. Is there anything else you'd like to know? I hope I answered your question.

Ah I see! As for their place among the Fallen, how [i]old[/i] are they really? Did they keep prophecies like the House of Rain? Also how were they able to outrun the Whirlwind and still have their standing as they are now? The rest of the Houses fell to hate and betrayal. How did this House keep their ways??

The house is centuries if not millenia old. It depends on how old the Fallen species is. No they didn't keep prophecies like House Rain. They were able to outrun the whirlwind due to them having suspicions of such an event, so they were prepared to leave if necessary. But they did lose about half of their House due to conflicts that arose during the Whirlwind and to replace their losses, they conquered many other Houses. Like the other Houses though, the Ash has Fallen (heh) to hate and betrayal but not as much as the others because they seek to restore their race to it's nobility.
