Gjallarhorn really needs a nerf. The game never should have shipped with it as broken as it was. It did approximately 4x as much damage as any other heavy weapon. That is just unacceptable and was the reason why some of the bosses have way too much health (remember the nerf for Valus T'aurc). They had to balance the game for a team of everyone having Gjallarhorn or it would have been too easy. It is actually the reason why they had to remove burns and make Skolas harder too - and that was really sad because it was faster to kill him with a team of high impact sniper rifles than a team using Gjallarhorns. [b]Now Gjallarhorn will be a great Rocket Launcher just like Truth, it just won't be stupidly Over Powered anymore.[/b] And as far as LFG goes. Too many people who play this game are noobs.[b] I beat Skolas last night (for the 20th time) with a random from destinylfg who's best heavy was Truth. [/b]We killed him without any problem. Teams have never needed nor will ever need Gjallarhorn to complete a task in Destiny. All you need to do is be a relatively decent player, know when to fight and when to take cover, you can do it with any weapon. Honestly, I have Gjallarhorn equiped most of the time, but I hardly ever use it. I snipe everything.
