I'd wait till Saturday and check ur character and vault. Sometimes and rarely the transfer of weapons armor materials will get lost in the network stream. It should come back. If not. Then consult with bungie. Or the community

Yeah, that's actually why I posted here. Tried to search Bungie for a form to submit a trouble ticket of some form, but the community help thread was all I could find. I hope it pops up. I avoid PvP like the plague except for IB, and I would hate to think I've put the time in getting constantly shot with Thorn to get an etheric light, only to lose it and the shotgun I put it on.
