Big Pun was insanely gifted when it came to lyrics. I mean really amazing. Most people only remember him for one or two radio singles with Fat Joe before he died, but there was much more to Pun. On top of his excessive amount of multis, complete rhyme schemes, alliteration, and tongue twisters, there was actual lyricism. He could go from talking politics and being socially conscious with tracks like "Capital Punishment Medley" to producing hot radio singles with Jennifer Lopez. He even read the entire dictionary. Big Pun was arguably the most versatile rapper there ever was. And it is a shame that he died so prematurely. The only other rapper as versatile as Pun is Eminem during his prime. Although whereas the latter often had/has to resort to non-sequiturs and nonsense in his lyrics for the sake of multis, Pun was able to pull off both. He could be lyrical without sacrificing his technical ability and was able to maintain his technical ability without sacrificing his lyrical integrity.

One of the most important ones I can think of is Eyedea. Under him is Sadistik and Deacon the Villain.
