Exactly how I feel. The defenders of the nerf will say, they don't want you using the same guns for 10 years.
Why can't they make new guns at least as good as VOG and CROTA ones? House of wolves guns were shit and that's why you don't see us using them. Only one I half way like is my solar dreg. I'd still rather use VOC in most situations.
The guns aren't what makes the game. It's the raids and content. Trying to make it seem like the problems are because of weapons is a distraction from bungies issues of not giving us enough to do.

Because that would require work and bungie can't program for shit. Look at there new guns, from bad ass looking guns like thorn and red death to these clean sterile guns that your to scared to shoot because they might get dirty. They have no vision.

Your right there are a few good ones AND people play with them. That was my point people shouldn't have guns taken away from them, they should have more options added to their collection. Really the topic was more about the IB and Ghorn exotic nerfs. Don't get me wrong I like some of the other exotics, but I have legendary options that do just as good or better than most of them. I feel like attaining IB and Ghorn were a couple of the woohoo!! moments where I felt like I got something really sweet. The others are kind of a once in a blue moon I might use for fun. IB and Ghorn are all business though and I love them for that! These 2 and black hammer are all solar. Why not come out with void or arc exotic weapons in the new dlcs that will have a similar feel of greatness to them? I feel that would be a much better option and keep fans happy rather than the 2.0 WTF they pulled on us. It just felt like a molestation more than a balancing.

i understand, but power creep is real. i think the etheric light messed everything up. you get op weapons for the lvl of the game. otherwise, there is no incentive to use or get new weapons. i know it sucks, but it isnt fun to use fatebringer for 10 years. 1 year is enough. then get me the better gear

But if guns are gonna be able to be brought into the new dlc we should be able to bring the actual guns, not a weak version of it. I like using a lot of different weapons, for example I switch between fang, over edict, and fatebringer as my arc enemy primaries. Having a different one on each character keeps it fresh for me. And I have void and solar options just the same. Until they come out with a new version of these guns I would prefer to keep them. The POE guns didn't live up to the expectation of primary rewards.

That was Deej comment, personaly I dont think I will keep all my year one weapons. The thing is if it was true that the nerf is supose to make old weapons obsolete why would the buff some of them?
