Megadrive (UK) converted it to play Japanese games. Took of the top half and filed down inside where you insert the games. [spoiler]Yes I know there were converters but where's the fun in that?[/spoiler]

Wait, I thought Genesis/megadrive consoles needed soldering to change the region?

I had original U.K Megadrive you could play U.S (Genesis) carts without a converter and the only difference with the Japanese was the shape. Even though at the time we used PAL and U.S /Japan used NSTC is it. TL,DR played Japanese Street Fighter 2 on my U.K console.

You probably know more about it than me friend. Guess I just got lucky with the version I had. Damn it the Megadrive brings back some good gaming memories. Some gamers today may not even know that there were good Sonic games, once upon a time.
