For ideas. It needs a solid B. They introduced PoE which they crafted into a pretty good replacement for a raid. ToO was a good edition and you can't call ToO bad because all of Crucible is broken. As an idea without basis, it's great. All the little tid bits were nice too. New modifiers. Recrafting. Ascending. Etc. What could they have done better? Story, as is the problem with Destiny. ToO can get really frustrating. Even moreso than normal Crucible. A lot of potential they didn't touch

Edited by HeartStrong07: 7/26/2015 8:20:12 PMReally unbiased grade of "B" I think others, particularly if they do not play PvP, are really disappointed in how quickly HoW gets old and the weak weapons.. However, like you say, HoW brought alot of new elements to the table, but maybe the execution was lacking.. Thanks

The execution and buildup to this was almost nonexistent. But compared to TDB which WAS nonexistent. They did a good move with the Queens Emissary in the Tower. Perhaps a little further. I guess for the PvE only it can get dull. But PvP is a pretty big part of the game. It's what saved Vanilla Destiny from a total failure. Then update 1.1.1 came and Crucible was ruined...

You are giving Bungie high marks for ingenuity, some needed changes and Trials... I get it

Bungie is known for a deep, rich lore that has hidden messages and inspirations all over it. Some of that seems to be lost with Destiny but I still personally believe in Bungie and blame most of the bad things in Destiny on Activision. That's just me though

I hear yah, you can view that lore in the cards, just not showing up in the game .... hate to say it, but Activision probably "dumbed things down" to save money and raise profits ..
