Is Moment of Triumph good?
What do think? I think that Moment of Triumph is way to easy and people that pick up the game 1 month before the deadline can finish it easily. This makes the feat worthless in my opinion.
Edit 1: It is doable in 1 month if you are dedicated. Takes 2-3 days to finish story (have done that on an alt) and rest of the farming public events, crucible, and doing poes.
Edit 2: I am no way a day 1 player (month1) and I still havent been skolas XD. Tried to do it once but got disconnected... Will try soon. I am more of a raid/iron banner type of person

Lighthouse should've replaced one of them. I didn't even know what it was and when I checked, I already finished everything.

Too easy. Only had to get a few chests and I was done with it all.

I already had everything completed and need 5 more gold chests but too lazy

Skolas was annoying but not impossible... just the stress of the essence and overly critical people made it less enjoyable.

To people who play constantly who have Gjallarhorn yea it might be too easy. For the common player,( I myself don't have Gjally) it was perfect difficulty. I had a fun time beating Skolas and it was challenging. We had to do round 3 live 5 times. (It was Cabal). I love it

If you have been playing casually since the start you should have most of it done.

You forget that it is not about being hard. It is about having achieved a reasonable amount of feats in the first year. This is not a try hard thing, it is a community thing. So in that sense the moment of triumph is good the way it is. I would not even have put Skolas in there he is just a pain in the ass.

1 ReplyEye roll. How quickly they forget. Reality check. I did sherpa-duty yesterday walking a team of 4 newbies through the Crota raid (from strat to finish) on NORMAL. Despite having me as level 34 and a level 34 Swordbearer...each with many clears to our credit....it took us 3 hours. Three hours ---despite two experienced raiders telling them exactly what to do. One guy showed up without enough heavy ammo synths to complete the Crota fight. Another guy showed up without a tracking rocket launcher....so his rocket was always 50-50 as to whether or not it would hit Crota at all. Of the other two guys, only one seemed to grasp the idea of firing at Crota in unison. One guy would fire along with me...the other two would always wind up staggering their shots a split second latter. Between the staggered fire and the fact that one of the four rockets couldn't even be counted on to hit....I ended up having to fill in the gap by double-firing my Ghorn. To make sure He went down to one knee....then you throw in the problems from the glitchiness of the raid itself. ...and this is the time that a group of new players had to spend doing one activity that just PREPARES you just ONE of the feats that the Emblem calls for. This group of guys still have to get through the Hard Mode raid....and that's only after they get over their shock at how difficult it was on NORMAL for someone doing it for the first time and NOT being carried. Can someone do the things the emblem calls for in a month if more experienced players literally "backpack" them through it?? Yes. But in a multiplayer coop game, there is no guarding against that. They'll always know that they didn't really earn it themseles. But for people who----like this raid team yesterday----who put in the honest work themselves? The ida of them getting through all that Emblem calls for in only 6 weeks-----even with the guidance of better players----is pretty laughable.

I don't give a sh!t about that emblem. Looks ugly and besides, when the moments of triumph happened most people were 80% done it and the rest had already done it all.

I think it's just fine as is. Perhaps if the prize was something more than an emblem... A [i]special[/i] weapon or [i]super[/i] armor? Then, yes, more should be required. I seriously considered not worrying about it at all for another emblem.

1 ReplyFor me the toughest part of the Laurea Prima was the Skolas lev 35 battle. Fortunately I was with a couple great Guardians that helped me. If some one is able to get into the Destiny social experience they should be able to win their Triumph emblem. I still wonder if our community managers Cozmo and Deej will bother to win the Laurea Prima. They could use this as a leadership by example moment to show the Destiny community they have shared our pain and glory.

I had already completed as soon as it was released, annoying really was looking forward to working towards completing it.

Love that these 'day 1ers' are whining because they feel they are entitled to more than everyone else just because they bought the game the day it came out... And as for the emblem if you think it's too easy and everyone will get it then why does it matter? Just don't use it!

I think it's fine. It's to show that you did the endgame content available in Year 1. There's no need for it to be some ultra elite better-than-you accomplishment.

Too easy by far. Most of us had 90% of the prerequisites when Crota HM dropped

Mine was completed before it was released, but it's more of a disappointment than anything. I was hoping for a reason to play more often again... not a reason to let my copy of Destiny build up even more dust.
