The vault space can't be increased any further. Bungie servers are already hard pressed as it is. You have nine slots per piece per character for armor plus vault space. That should be more than enough.

5 exotic hunter helms and the four Poe helmets already fill the character. They haven't said they can't increase the space they have said they won't. They even said when they expanded the first one it wasn't the final solution

Why would you need to carry all of that at one time? There are what, 26 armor slots in the vault? You can carry one helmet for each subclass and all of your PoE crap and be just fine. You can't blame Bungie for you hoarding. And yes the servers are pretty much pushed as far as they go I run servers for a living and I understand how far they can be pushed.
