It's like all the dlc, they will either leave old weapons on 365 or you'll have another type of etheric light to get to year 2 damage. My point is most of us have probably got a few shards sitting in our inventory by now that has no use anymore. There needs to be a trading platform for them

Why's that? Won't the attack go up and need etheric light to raise it to the maximum again

Who knows there is no complacency! Look at the dark below, no attack escalation. Then house of wolves etheric light. They've said that the taken king is like a new game not a dlc so we might not get to bring year one weapons up to year two attack
