To be honest there was nothing wrong with the game, until that first person complained.
Since that day Destiny in general has had a lot of ups and downs with buffs and nerfs etc.
Its not bungies fault that some people struggle against some weapons or missions. It took me nearly a month just to get 100 solid void kills for thorn bounty. What ever happened to just working for it? I have a Thorn now and hardly use it. I get killed by Gjallahorn in PVP all the time. I dont complain, I make sure i kill them. Its called Perseverance. I have a Gjallahorn. Hezen Vengence is better. Makes me a better player. No tracking. All complaining has done is made what was a reasonable fun social shooter in to something that is turning into a expensive waste of every ones time. Also if it takes longer to kill something because of a nerf then it stands to reason that over all the game will be harder to play.

You guys do overreact. MMO's get weapon tuned all the time. Look at World of Warcraft. Things get buffed and nerfed sometimes every week. And that game is 10+ years strong. Bungie is trying to make all weapons usable in crucible and to calm down the eliteism. Even though now poeple are gunna be worse with gally but thats not the point. Everythings always gunna change. So jump on and join the fun lol

You people overreact...

A little, too many sheep lol

1 ReplyWho said all of them? XD

Lol just look at that poll. Juuuuust look at it. Tells you everything you need to know. Let me give you a crash course in the concept of a "vocal minority", everyone.

1 ReplyIf you quit because of the 2.0 weapons nerf, you're an idiot. If you're just tired of Destiny and quit or find a game you enjoy more, fine. I'm not happy about a lot of the changes, but I'll find new favorite weapons...like maybe the Necrochasm?

They will most likely gain more players since TTK will be coming out at around the same time but in the long run who knows but i doubt any loss will be really noticable because of a weapon rebalance. The ones that leave are the ones that were about to leave anyways and just using the patch as an excuse or scape goat

None.

Edited by CozMcKilljoy: 7/20/2015 5:52:14 PMI love how people respond and over react to stuff like this. They don't understand the concept of "adapt." I mean if this is a game people really enjoy they will just shrug it off and move on.

Lose* :)

None.
-
Where is the none option? Or the too few to care?
-
People get heated in the moment and it just becomes a snowball effect. No one sees the big picture when it's hard to hear screams amongst a few angry people. It's why riots seem stupid unless your in the middle of one.
-
Screw you that's an awesome nerf
-
Where is the option for none? Anyone that quits because of a rebalance is dumb
-
Just the plebs
-
I'd like to believe a lot because that would show we know how to come together and get our voice heard but I know it'll probably be a little because people don't really care. They worked around the last nerf and they'll work passed this one. I am upset over some of the nerfs but I'm glad assault rifles are coming back.

Its a balance patch to make more than only 3 guns relevant. A few will leave before it even drops because they depend so heavily on those guns, but not all of them
