People claim they agree with ghorn nerf because it was op and now everybody will need to learn tactics. Exactly what in this game requires tactics? Bosses are just bullet sponges. Period.

  • I would have to say that killing Skolas in 35 PoE requires some tactics to beat it. Just saying. And in response to the initial post, I somewhat agree about the Black Hammer. I've had it for quite some time, and it's been oh so nice to pull it out against a crappy boss that doesn't move and just go to town getting 30-40-50 headshots in a row until it dies. The nerf that makes it pull from ammo is an incredible nerf to the power of this weapon, and is really quite depressing, and while I understand that they want to make things tougher by not allowing me to just sit back and unleash tons of headshots into the boss, it would be nice if they could do so without screwing up a gun that I've worked so hard to upgrade and ascend. I'm never able to use it on legit bosses like Skolas or Crota (Atheon sure, but who cares about VoG anymore) because they require too much movement and/or other tactics to make it viable. It's supposed to be easy to kill lower level bosses. After reading a lot of these threads, I really don't know how I feel about all of these weapon changes. I also don't know why they decided to put it all into one huge weapon update, seeing as that will just change the entire play style of the game in one night. Why not roll out the changes periodically so we don't have to deal with such an abrupt and colossal change overnight? Oh, because the changes are too significant to be put in by themselves... well then I guess you should rethink the changes. As much as I agree that some things needed to be nerfed (Thorn, Last Word), there's no need to play God, Bungie. Let the game be, and let us figure out how to be good at it.

  • "That's not how we want you to experience our game." - DeeJ An absolute joke.
