I loved em both. Looking back, I liked moment to moment gameplay better in skyrim as well as combat, but I liked houses and guilds more in Oblivion. And items. Something about it just felt good in a way Skyrim didn't replicate.

I felt you were more active in the Guilds in skyrim, tbh. In oblivion when you finished the quests it felt like it just kind of ended.

In both Skyrim and Oblivion, you did. But remember all of the stuff you got from the Dark Brotherhood in Oblivion? Holy smokes.

Oblivion just felt unique. They're both great. They're different though, and had their strengths. It's hard for me to identify them in a thorough and concise manner though having not played either of them in several years.

Thats a good way to put it, you really need to think and sort of dissect each game to thoroughly compare them.

Yeah. It's no easy task, but I felt things in Oblivion that I didn't in Skyrim. I'm too drunk to really put in that effort atm tho.
