If you're like me you must have spent all your WP rerolling a weapon and as a result have run dry. At least make the gunsmith able to sell them. It would make a lot of people's lives easier.
Edit 1: I don't have time to grind strikes, crucible, or patrol. To those of you saying just buy weapons and dismantle them, if you have actually done it then you should know how ineffective it is. 150 marks for 3 or 800 glimmer for 1. If you don't have glimmer or time than these are shit suggestions.

This is a good idea. I myself play destiny a lot but still have come short of weapon parts.
-
I think being able to trade armor materials like plasteel plating for weapon parts at the gunsmith should be implemented ASAP, lol.

Edited by woogedy_boogedy: 7/15/2015 2:09:13 AMDismantle trials weapon 3-4 parts for 500 glimmer and unlimited amount
-
Play dragon strikes those blue engrams and weapons sometimes give 3 or more when you break them down.
-
-
You look cute today
-
Get 7 wins on a Trials passage, each weapon is 500 glimmer and awards 2-4 weapon parts, you can easily get a bunch with a little glimmer farming.
-
So you have time to grind weapon re-rolls, but you have no time to grind weapon parts?
-
Or just restrain yourself from rerolling everything.
-
Buy the ToO weekly weapon and dismantle it.
-
Nah. I got over 3000.
-
-
20 weapon parts for 10 vanguard/crucible marks. Same as other upgrade materials. I guess that would make parts kinda limitless, so i would be cool with like 5 weapons parts for 20 marks. I am constantly maxed on marks with nothing to spend them on.
-
Don't Reroll shit weapons then.
-
This has to be a joke lol I had 800+ before HOW dropped and haven't went lower than 250 and that's after I rerolled all the pre how crucible guns and queens weapons. The easiest way to get engrams is strikes which I haven't did in a while.
-
Destiny is a grind. If you don't grind then you won't become legend. It's a hamster wheel bruh. Dragon strikes is the best way cause you get a shit load of weapons and just keep dismantling them
-
Edited by Julio: 7/14/2015 5:58:09 PMI just collect all the uncommons I get along the way and then equip them when I turn in my bounties. After this, I upgrade them since they don't require weapon parts and dismantle them after. Yeah, it's not a lot but it's better than complaining.
-
Couldn't agree more especially the edit lol
-
Go to gun Smith, buy stuff, dismantle. Not hard to get them.
-
Uh, I've sharded so many guns since September I don't think I'll ever run out of Gun Parts.
-
you don't have time to grind any of those, than you my friend are screwed if you had glimmer and progressed far enough in trials to be able to purchase the weapon of the week which is legendary you buy as many as you have glimmer for then dismantle them. that is the quickest way to do it. I used my excess shards, sold them to the speaker, roughly a 100 = 25k which then turns into 100+ weapon parts, I say a 100+ for sometimes you'll get 2-4 parts per dismantle.
-
You guys are on drugs. Weapon Parts and class specific materials are the easiest resource to come across in the entire game.
-
All player who where around when the OG LOOT CAVE was around you should have gotten more than enough weapon parts to last. Me personal collected 2000 parts roughly.
-
While we're at it please increase the amount of parts you get from dismantling legendary weapons. Dismantle a blue and you get 5 parts. Dismantle a legendary and you also get 5 parts. That sucks.
