A True Reward for the Loyals (Feedback Edition)

Edited: I don't need to explain why those who have supported Bungie this whole time are feeling a bit bitter about Destiny's new bundled pricing. Is $40 for one dlc really fair for the gamers who've had Bungie's back since day one? The "thank you"s Bungie will be giving the Loyals at the release of TTK will have to be pretty substantial. That's just it though. Will they be? What should we be expecting? I think that everyone who purchased the original expansion pack or the HoW or DB dlc prior to the release of TTK's new bundles should be properly rewarded. Many of us have already spent $100+ on this game and our only reasonable option is to spend another $40. That's $140+ for the people who have been supporting Bungie/Destiny for weeks or months. Yet those who are only just beginning to support bungie can get almost everything we have for nearly half the cost? That's so twisted. Unless those in-game rewards are worth $60+, which I doubt, they hardly scratch the surface of a true "thank you" from Bungie. Or has depriciation made Destiny and its first two dlc worth only about a mere $20? Let's pick $40 as a middle ground. Are our "thank you"s going to be worth $40? Will TTK be worth $40? Is that really a fair price for a dlc? Please let me know your opinions Here are my suggestions for a true compensation: 1.) Early access to TTK for players who have already sunk plenty of money and hours into this game 2.) Reduced fees (25% or more off) for TTK or future dlc, exclusive to those who have already spent $100+ on Destiny and its currently avialable dlc 3.) Free merch for players who can prove that they have already spent far more than they needed to in order to pay for Destiny and its dlc. To clarify, I mean those who bought the game and dlc before the pricing was significantly reduced These are just ideas to get the ball rolling. I'd love to hear the opinions of those who share my disposition. Please comment your suggestions about what Bungie can give as a true "thank you" for our patronage and our support. As for Bungie, I'd really like to know your plans to compensate your true supporters. You don't honestly think that a few in-game rewards will cut it, do you? The extra money we've spent, the feedback we've given these months, the many hours we've spent playing your game and supporting you... Bungie, does this mean anything at all to you? (If you've read everything up 'til now): Thank you very much for your time. Let's make sure it isn't wasted. Edit: Thank you all for taking the time to reply and give your opinions. You're all the fuel that keeps the fire burning. Stay beautiful lol Edit 2: Bump if you can relate. Comment if you've got some opinions or suggestions. Let's raise our collective voice!

  • I agree, I feel that simple shaders and emblems isn't enough satisfaction for players who support bungie. Everyone is being fairly patient with bungie and I have to respect that. Lets all show the support we have and at least give them feedback of how we feel the community is being treated.
