Blacksmith Shouldn't Be a Prize for Those Who Got Locked Out, Time to Fix It. [Solved for Me]
For the love that of the Traveler, BLACKSMITH SHOULD NOT BE A RARE COSMETIC ITEM GIVEN AWAY FOR CONTESTS AND EVENTS.
IT IS A PREORDER BONUS THAT NEEDS TO AT LEAST BE SOLD ON THE MARKET PLACE.
You wanna take our BLAM!ing money by releasing the collector's edition content separately, BUT YOU CAN'T DO IT FOR ONE LOUSY SHADER THAT MOST PEOPLE DON'T EVEN WEAR ONCE THEY GET IT?
At this rate you'll go, oh let's release the original CE cosmetics and not give a damn about Blacksmith. You're business are giving me the hugest of migraines just because of how stupid they are. I get screwed out of it from moving generations when all your equipment transfers over.
Honestly, you screw over the community more than you please it, this day is no exception. I couldn't care less if you don't give out free equipment, but something that should NOT BE HARD TO GET IS RARE IS JUST YOU RUBBING A MIDDLE FINGER IN THE COMMUNITIES FACES. Instead we have scalpers who charge outrageous amounts for it.
I haven't felt this angry since REACH'S MULTIPLAYER, SINCE YOU DIDN'T FIX THAT EITHER.

For those who think that I'm complaining over something so silly, here is a quote for you:

4 Repliesim sure you obviously are too dense to understand, but blacksmith was only given out to the original console it was redeemed on ans you cannot get another. its pointless to argue a point that wont be changed. its literally just one shader, is your life going to end if you dont get it on playstation 4? i got a code on xbox one, played on t 360 so i lost it, and then switched to ps4. sometimes you have to deal with losing one thing for a chance at something better

Bungie I know you're busy with the DLC, and dealing with being hammered by people who asked you to make changes, and those same people getting mad at you for changing the game, but take care of my shader for me or else I'm gonna be VERY upset!

5 RepliesThis has to be a joke right? You can tell me, no one else is listening. You can't really be this upset that bungie won't give you a pre-order exclusive shader. For real. There are hundreds of shaders to choose from, why not just accept that it was a pre-order bonus you missed out on, no big deal. I'm not even trying to be mean or anything. It's just, why even stress over something so trivial as a shader? I have it and never even use it. Got lucky with dead orbit and got revenant long ago and never looked back. Maybe focus all this energy on a faction shader you like and go for that, since that's actually obtainable , especially once the TTK drops (increased chance for shaders). Seriously man this stress you're putting yourself through over a shader cannot be good for you.

2 RepliesHi guardians! I recently saw this post. And know how Bungie works, they probably won't read it and it will go away. So I'm going to paste it in a new post. If you support the cause, copy this post and paste it in to one of your own!!! So that eventually (and hopeful) Bungie see's this. Well here it is! :) So, Destiny is almost a year old. I started playing with the Beta, left after TDB was released, and recently returned. I am primarily a PVE player, but will take a turn in the crucible for a change of pace. I, like a lot of people, feel that Destiny year one has been a beta test. If Destiny year two is better that year one, I may be able to get over it. The games shooting mechanics are still a lot of fun. Everything else is pretty much a hot mess. From lack of story, multiple currencies, lifeless environments, heavy grind, confusing advancement requirements, to all the issues with PVP, Destiny has not been a user friendly product. I would like to see more done to compensate year one players. I want to know that Bungie appreciates my business, and all the work we have done testing Destiny. Right now I am not feeling the love from Bungie. I am for ascension of legendary gear. I do not accept the argument of "this is an MMO, so get used to it". I find that to be a defeatist statement. The entire point of giving feedback is to make the game better. Just because something works one way in other games does not mean that is the best way to go forward with Destiny. I would encourage Bungie to find a better way . Do I want to use the same gun for 10 years? Maybe, I don't know. I do know that I want the option to use my legendary gear, and be effective, if that is how I want to play the game. I would like to see bosses that are more than bullet sponges. Make encounters that a memorable and interesting. I want missions that more than my guardian fighting bad guys while Ghost does the work that moves the story forward. I would like to see more environments. There has to be more to earth than Russia and The City. Heck, I would like to explore the city, and see what my character is fighting for. Some in game method of building a strike team for Raids and other end game content. It makes no sense that I have to use fan sites to find a team. The game should make it possible to put a team together for any activity I want to participate in. More customization options for characters, please. Alright, this post is long enough as it is. Hope that Destiny is better in year 2. Have a great time out there guardians! And be sure to bump! :D
