This is the Golden gun buff the hunter needs
[spoiler]If get killled when doing the Golden gun animation you do not lose Golden gun
You can last two shotgun blasts while in golden gun mode

U don't lose GG if the animation is not finished before you die, same for BD, and a armor buff is not needed because it's a ranged super that has to be used with care, not as a golden shotgun... And yes, you can die to guns if you get teamshotted but so does the bladedancer, sunsinger and the upcoming supers for warlock and titan

I haven't had that happen yet, end up sometimes getting shotgunned mid-super activating, just have to use it earlier and plan better. But OP is right, there atleast needs to be a 50% increase on shields. wouldn't make a too much of a difference just gives hunters a slightly needed edge.
