Any tips from pro pvpers on how to get better?

So, I need help. Pvp is something I have become quite interested in and I need help because I'm tired of being on the bottom of the leader board. I'm tired of being made fun of because I suck (yep great community right) I've watched just about every youtube video on how to improve. I've watched all of byf's videos probably 10x. After watching byf's videos, I'd have to say that I have seen a little bit of improvement but I would like to see what advice the destiny community has to offer. Any help is appreciated. Any not so nice comments are also appreciated, as they are like wood to the fire of desire to improve. Thank you. Edit: wow guys thanks for all these awesome tips. I'll make sure I read them all before I play my next session of crucible and see how it goes. Keep em coming. Edit 2: As I'm reading through these replies I'm seeing a lot of practice, playing certain game modes, use thorn lol, radar, map knowledge, and finding my play style. I'll start applying all these helpful tips the next time I play. Thanks again.

  • Find a gun and stick with it not necessarily one gun but just a gun type then learn the weapon once you learn the feel of the weapon you will start to improve and once you master one weapon type move to the next a truly good pvper has to be able to adapt if you want a cheap and easy way use thorn but I'll think less of you for that to truly be good you need to master the legendary guns then you wipp be even more powerful with the exotics.
