I'm no pro, (last I checked my K/D is a flat 1, bite me) but I can share you some of my usual tactics. - pick a weapon you are most comfortable to use with and play to that weapons range. Use a secondary to cover your primary's weakness. I use scout/shotgun mostly. Pick your fights and make sure that you play to your loadout strength. Don't just dive in and expect to kill someone. This is not COD. - weapon/armor perks. Love that primary you're using? Optimize it by re-rolling it to your playstyle. Use an armor that speeds up your weapon Reload. - radar and map knowledge. Utilize your radar. Know the maps like it's the back of your hand. - awareness. Goes hand in hand with above point. Have a spot you like? Kill a few from there and move on to another spot. Mix it up. - supers. You will die by it. Accept that fact as early as now. It will save you a ton of frustration in the long run. On the other hand, you have yours, use it as you see fit. - watch those corners. Let's face it. Shot gunners are everywhere and they will camp. Be prepared. - classes and subclasses. Titans, warlocks, hunters. Knowing your enemy is half the battle. - headshots. I cannot stress this enough. Practice. - experience. I'm saying this from my own experience and you will have your own story to tell on your own as you play. Don't give up, keep playing. You'll get better.
