Deceptive. Its really for the whole franchise, including games and already on disk DLC

Didn't even read your post, but they only get 2 Million a year I believe. 2 something. The 500 Million budget is for the entire franchise, not just the first game. And a lot of the budget goes to marketing.

500 million was supposed to be for the entire destiny series I believe. A lot of that was marketing and PR. Funny thing being is that initial investment has already been made back within the first month of destiny's release. And companies think prices for games need to go up again...

It's called scope. I could've came up with a game idea really exquisite and on point but there is no way it would be out in a year. For those who say (not referring to you OP unless you're one of them) "But they're a AAA company of course they could've done that in a year!" Well first of all some of the stuff they wanted to do was probably not within their budget at the time, second they didn't have enough time to put all they wanted to at the release date, and a third reason could be it was a bug or it was something that just didn't work in the game at the time so they removed/scratched that idea for a later date. Besides I see all these complaints about this game and how it can be so much better but you all also have to remember that this game hasn't even been out for a year yet, and [u]almost[/u] (the word almost was included) no one says the first game was [i]waaaaaaaaay[/i] better than the sequels because the game designers take their mistake from the past year and make it up by correcting their mistakes in the years to come.

The obvious answer is money baths like Scrooge McDuck.

I've always said that Destiny could have been the best game ever made. Idk who to blame. Fans will blame activision but only so much you can blame them for right? I say to everyone just wait 1 week or even less to see the reviews for TTK before buying it. Vote with your wallet, not on a forum. I wouldn't mind if the dlc cost 20 bucks or 100 if it truly delivered. Otherwise just wait for the sequel and start fresh. They won't make the mistakes. God.........i hope they don't. The potential that was wasted here is what really burns. The concept is amazing, all the ingredients are there. Just poor management. They need to clean house over at bungie and i would start at the top and work my way down.

WeAther would be a nice effect, but it's not going to change the gameplay, oh it's raining suddenly. Pretty. How would random large creatures fit into the destiny world? You want a random big ass urzok type monster popping up ever 30 minutes? Yay. More than 3 on patrol would be nice. PoE above 28isnt random because it's designated bosses. I'm exclusively a console gamer, but consoles man, what more do you want? People complain a lot it didn't live up to their expectations, but the game to me offers a. Reasonable amount of content.
