I don't know if I could believe that this isn't a troll thread but before someone rips you apart I will introduce logic into this.
Voidwalkers - perfect as they are in PvP; benefit best from Obsidian Mind, The Ram, Nothing Manacles
Sunsingers - possibly over-powered (OP) depending on the perks someone uses. Flame Shield is the most OP melee perk because Scorch is ranged, leaves a burn, and grants a free shield, which is best paired with Claws of Ahamkara. Radiant Skin adds to the armor buff that naturally cones with Radiance. Fireborn is actually viable for PvP now because Purifier Robes. No buff is needed.
Gunslinger - 5 shots are you crazy!? I main a Hunter ou give me 5 shots I'll kill an entire team 2x over. You can already have 4 shots with the Symbiote helmet. I think you are trolling. Gunslinger is perfect as they are.
Bladedancers - remove the aerial tracking on ArcBlade and they will be perfect (I main this subclass). Best suited with Mask of the Third Man or Khepri's Sting for OHKOs on any invisible melee backstabs
Defenders - would be perfect if Catapult wasn't an underwhelming ability and if the caster of Ward of Dawn could shot through their own bubble to hit targets. Best suited with Helm of Saint-14 or No Back Plans
Strikers - perfect as they are; benefit best from nearly any Titan Exotic except Peregrine Greaves, if you use these you are just crippling yourself
If you think these existing subclasses don't stack up to Darth Sidious, Thor, or The Dark Archer you might be a bit crazy

That's why my suggestions for sunsinger started off as me saying they need a support buff. Sunsong should be default. Yeah gunslingers are fine now but the Sunbreaker can throw unlimited hammers without losing extra super energy and it has increased defense and it can melee. Plus it's sunspots act like a support beacon for the titan and his allies.the sunsinger is supposed to be a support class but it has awful support capabilities. Out of all the alterations I mentioned sunsinger is the def the one that needs it the most. How are my suggestions for sunsinger, gunslinger and blade dancerOP considering that? I don't see how a blade dancer would ever be ale to close the gap on a Sunbreaker or stormcaller in a 1v1. I already said striker and void are good as they are.
-
Well I think you are disregarding the fact that tossing your hammer will shorten your Super time like Arcblade activating its perks. Plus 1v1 a Gunslinger would destroy a Sunbreaker because of GG's quickshots and range. ArcBlade vs Radiance is almost completely 1 to 1 unless the Warlock has Radiance Skin or their Flame Shield active. Sure Sunsingers can throw nades for days but it really is 1 to 1 between the two. Whoever hits first wins because both take 2 hits from each other to kill. From video evidence, it also seems it takes two ticks from Stormtrance to kill a normal guardian (meaning 4 ticks against ArcBlade). A hunter would easily tear through a Stormtrancer

Throwing doesn't decrease super energy, there are game play vids. It depletes at a constant fixed rate. The only perk that takes extra energy is the super strong shoulder charge thing. Yeah a sunsinger with the right perks and timing can take a blade dancer. I only use sunsinger on my lock. Power isn't my issue with sunsingers, the lack of support abilities is my issue. Firesong being default and having the solar nade second has a small buff giver seems reasonable.
-
I still can't see Sunbreakers being OP even with multihammers. And if they want to sit in one sunspot for an overshield then in PvP they are nothing more than Defenders on fire. Sunsingers shouldve been support but it seems the developers -blam!-ed up. Song of Fire should have a place on any raid team but only if there are two Sunsingers, one for rez the other for song
-
Yeah but they could totally alter sunsingers and should. Warlocks are going to be left with no strong support class. While defenders and nightstalker are out there doing work. I don't think any of the new classes are OP they are just more complex and cover more ground. And you can't deny that defender melee needs some fixes.
-
Well to be far Sunsingers are quite supportive if someone chooses to use support perks. Song of Fire is just the beginning. And I would love to know what fix Disintergrate needs? It's pretty perfect even if it should work like Flame Shield and not visaversa
-
It should work as I posted above. Since shields aare their thing. Do you not think defenders should have juggernaut? Few strikers use it anyways and it makes more sense on a defender
-
Well see how I get around the overshield is by using No Backup Plans so I have an almost constant shield. And sure Juggernaut would make sense but it wouldn't be used
-
What would defenders use over it? In pve and long pvp matches I could see defenders favoring illuminated. But in many scenarios I could see it getting use. Definitely more than it does now with the striker
-
well let's face that Iron Harvest would be replaced with Juggernaut right? Even then....Untouchable or Illuminate would be used more in PvE and PvP. Why? Juggernaut is a lackluster ability. Now, if Relentless were to boost Force Barrier and Juggernaut then it would get more use
-
Defenders and nightstalker are supportive by default, and can be made more supportive. So sunsingers should have some of that as well.
