I get the fact that cheaters are bummers. To say ToO isn't skill-based seems a little too farfetched imo. I've been to the Lighthouse every weeks on all 3 characters since lauch and I can assure you that, unless you run into a similar bunch of -blam!-heads like the ones in the video above, you need a good mix of map knowledge, clean communication, AND skills. And above all, you must rely on you teammates at all cost, because they are your golden ticket to the flawless. Knowing is half the battle, as they say. Be prepared, have plans on whether you are starting on either Alpha or Bravo; make calls for EVERYTHING!(e.g.:''Axion thrown! 1 hit! No, 2 hits!'', ''I'm burning, cover me'', ''2 baddies doted with Thorn, they are backtracking to the left!'' these kind of things). I play with the same 2 guys every weekends, and we are good, but not ''world-champion'' good, that's for sure. As for the cheaters, we met some once, and yes it was painful, and I agree whole heartedly they should be banned, not just from Destiny, but from PSN too. Let them buy another 60$ membership for all that I care, at least they will have paid for their bad behavior. All in all, good luck to all of you in ToO, in hopes of meeting any of you in the battlefield for those who crave for a fair fight!

I'm not saying the Trials aren't skill based. I'm saying that the matchmaking for Trials isn't skill based, meaning that someone who is average at pvp like me since I can't spend alot of time in the crucible can get paired up with someone who is a god in pvp and does nothing but.

Well shit, that changes everything now, heh? Well as far as I'm concerned, Trials were meant as the ultimate test of competitive multiplayer(Bungie's words, not mine!). I understand the frustration, but you gotta roll up your sleeves and smack the assholes in the airbag. And by competitive, they mean using every -blam!-ing cheesyness you can come across in PvP. So don't feel bad if your team is full on Thorns. That is all up to you, friend!
