This is regarding Vanguard Bounties only for the Taken King Release or even sooner that I would like implemented.
[b]Issues with Current Vanguard Story Mission Bounties:
[/b]Note: When it comes to Vanguard Bounties I'm talking about the ones that focus on killing a specific character in a Story Mission.
--Thus far these are nice bounties to encourage players to replay certain story missions. But so far they are very limited to a small amount story missions which omit many story levels in the game. These need to be replaced or we should have them rotated with the idea below.
[b]I would like to suggest a new bounty Type.

Name: Lore Lord (or something else that would sound cool for story missions.)
Objective: Play 10 different Story missions with the Heroic Modifier Active (ie. could be more like 15 story mission or even less like 5 story missions)
XP Rewards: 10000 (or something else)
Vanguard Reputation: 200

Anyone feel like sharing a alternate version of this let me know. My aim is to have a bounty created that encourages players to just play through the entire story again in a sequential order or in a order they choose without repeating more then one level for the bounty. Thus far we just have a grind of a certain few story missions over and over which really boring imo. This could help encourage game-play variety too.

I'm not crazy about the idea personally as I think the heroic storyline mission bounties are a little repetitive already. However, I think you may be on to something with regards to new bounty types. I would suggest a WEEKLY HEROIC BOUNTY and/or WEEKLY NIGHTFALL bounty, meaning you only get the bounty once per week per character. The weekly heroic bounty would be something like "complete 5 dragon strikes w/o dying" or "3 dragon strikes in a row without dying" and the reward would be an etheric light. Alternatively, the Weekly Nightfall bounty will give you access to a specific storyline mission on the max difficulty level with nightfall-like modifiers. If you complete it without dying, you will get an etheric light.
