Chapter 2: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/132759352 Chapter 1: [b]The Calm Before The Storm[/b] Singing. Dancing. Celebrations. Drinks. These are what made Ghost filled with joy. With such a party dedicated to just a group of six people, who wouldn't feel honored? After all, they were the best raid team around. People had high hopes for the completion of a task that seemed impossible. To kill a God of The Hive. He looked around, seeing people walk up to them, one by one, to give their thanks to the raid team. He looked at the oh-so familiar faces that sat on the couch with him. They were his friends. His family. He would do anything to protect them. He watched over all of them, and they all looked up to Ghost. Privus, an Exo Titan. This robot always joked about Ghost being too big for a hunter. He joked about his height. But not about his strength, which could beat even the strength of a Titan wearing their armor. He learned that the hard way. He was the clown of the group, and Ghost didn't mind a joke or two. Jovan, an Awoken Warlock. He was the scholar of the bunch. He knows nearly everything about what they encounter. He provides info valuable to the team. He tends to be more serious than the others of the group. Calling everyone else imbeciles for doing stupid things and such, except for Ghost. Said something bad to Ghost and you would pay for it in the Crucible. Ghost may shrug the insults off, but he will come back to bite you in the ass in the fires of the Crucible. Vari, a Human Hunter. Always in it for the loot. She doesn't care about the goal of the Raid, she cares about the treasures within their Raids, within each dungeon that they face. The female Hunter, however, still cares for her team, taking a few hits every now and then for them. However, she always wants more than anyone else in her raid team, forcing a few members of her team to give a bigger share of the loot to her because of the deeds she does throughout the raid. A little selfish, if you ask Ghost. Alexis, a Human Titan. You can call her the momma of the family. Always looking out for others rather than for herself. The amount of times she has saved the team with a Ward Of Dawn makes her a valuable asset to the team. She does everything in the Raid for the greater good. She wants to purge the Darkness for the greater good. She wants to push back the seething masses, to eliminate all that stood against Humanity, the Exos, and the Awoken. Ghost thinks she has the greatest spirit of the group, and he believes that it shall never die. Della, an Awoken Warlock. She was Ghost's love. They had been together ever since they had been on that one strike mission against that one Cabal Overlord: Valus Dar'uag. The love they had for each other was unbreakable. They did everything together. Ghost wanted her to sit out of this suicide mission, but she declined. Saying that if she doesn't go, he doesn't go. Ghost hated how protective she was. He just didn't want her to succumb to it, to be taken by the foul thing the Guardians called the Darkness. This group was the best of the best. They had chemistry like no other. They had skill in their own individual ways that made them like no other. Ghost loved his team. He loved his life. The praise he was getting for such a task that hadn't even been completed yet made him feel blessed to be a person of such status. But enough about the team. This was a time for celebration! The team got up, they danced, drank their beverages, and even formed a Kongo line. This was the best day of Ghost's life. He just hoped that it wouldn't be his last.
