The idea is for them to make the older weapons obsolete because you will always use the same thing otherwise. I understand what you are saying and I also get why they are doing this. You can't move forward if you are attached to old things, so they have to remove them. You'll probably still be able to use them but they won't be as effective anymore.

How about the line they used saying that other guardians should be able to see your guardians story w/ the gear and weapons equipped? Poe boots, ce gloves, vog chest, too helm , fb, bh, tomorrow's answer, Revnant shader, too emblem, poe ship. If you equipped all that people in September will at the very least know you have challenged the hardest parts of the game and came out on top. Without ascension, then with we go back to the clone days w/ every upcoming dlc
