So is it for sure that weapons won't be ascended in the next DLC?
Complete crap idea.

That's the only thing that brought me back after refusing to play TDB. If they go back to status quo, I'm out. I'm sure there will be many that follow.

They can't say they learned from their mistakes and then invalidate previous gear all over again. It's beyond stupid.

Edited by zansatsu0: 6/18/2015 5:07:58 AMThese are the same people that thought that resetting your exotics was a good idea. I'm not saying they will invalidate it, but Deej doesn't inspire confidence the way he bumbles through his interview.

Good I wasn't the only one that thought this was all recycled bull from their vid doc. It's obvious deej isn't aware of anything. He's just a puppet for the developers

He has about as much tact as a bazooka and just about as much subtlety. I've seen people in his position who knew less and that were actually more soothing. I seriously think it's time he steps down as the Community Manager. He's not very good at it.

I've just never seen so much moving the damn cheese. First it was ascendent materials, which were essential to leveling up, now those are gone and public events are worthless. Then Crota materials, which they acknowledged as a mistake. Then ascending your weapons and armor for HoW, which was universally agreed upon as a very solid move, now a few weeks later announced will stop with the next DLC's gear because our gear is boring, says some guy. What the flying f* is going on. This "learn as you go" shjt has got to stop. I understand this is new territory, but at some point somebody has to put down a standard that it's ceased to be learning from mistakes and started to be bad decision making, plain and simple.

"Moving the cheese" describes this series of bad decisions perfectly. I hope they have finally settled into the Ascension system and this is how it will be. They can't just keep experimenting on their fans. People will eventually lose interest. Yes Bungie, make sure the game isn't boring, but seriously, stop -blam!-ing with us.
