Collectors Edition or Digital Collectors Edition? Confused...
So the Digital Download gives you just The Taken King plus VIP rewards, I get that. But both the Digital/Collectors Editions have the same price.
The Collectors Editions features a lot of extra little merch items, but as far as I can tell, the Digital Collectors Edition costs the same, but offers less, save the ability to fully download the game? Or does the DCE include what's offered in the CE and just not list it?
A little help would be appreciated!

2 RepliesYeah, it's kinda odd that they're the same price, yet the digital collector's version doesn't give you any of the tangible goodies. Personally, I just hope all of us who already own the game and everything can still snag the emotes, class items and shaders that are being offered with it. Seems crazy those would be exclusive to people who are just now buying the full game for the first time (or for some, again). Hopefully they do include those items with The Taken King by itself, on top of the "VIP" items. (The least they could do is give them to people who pre-order the DLC)

4 RepliesThe Digital lists having the 3 emotes, shaders, and exotic class items as well as Destiny, both expansions, and TTK. The non-digital has the physical perks like the Cayde-6 thing and strange coin replica. At least that's what I think I saw.

there is the digital download, which comes with just the Taken King and the VIP rewards (for veteran players), and then there is the digital collector's edition which comes with the TTK, the base game, and the previouse expansions as well as the VIP rewards (again, for veteran players) and 3 class specific emotes, 3 shaders, and 3 exotic class items with XP bonuses to allow new players to catch up to vets
