Idk, I just always think PVP players hate PVE players and vice versa. I play both and I don't hate either player.
My logic sucks.

Edited by SuggestedPigeon: 6/15/2015 3:43:06 PMFrom what I've seen there are people who exclusively enjoy pve and recoil in disgust when they feel they have to play pvp. Then there are people who play both. I don't know anyone nor would I understand anyone who truly loves the pvp in this game and dislikes the pve.

This forum is full of BS, including this topic. What the hell?!
-
2 RepliesI'd say most PvP players also do plenty of PvE. Lots of PvE players don't do PvP though, and that's probably where the hate comes from. Most gun nerfs/buffs come from PvP, which ultimately leads to those same guns sucking in PvE.
-
how many times have you heard a PvE player say this >>>> is over powered. we adapt to the situation and make the best of it.
-
1 ReplyMost players do both pve and Pvp. Some are most likely better at one thing over the other. The people who yell the loudest, is in my opinion, the exclusive pvp or pve players.
-
2 RepliesCause the PvE guys will adapt to the team and circumstances to complete an objective. PvP players will just pull out their thorn.... Que the butthurt PvP players!!!
-
People either play both or only PvE. I don't think there really are strictly PvP players. The PvP in Destiny isn't good enough to attract players that are that in to playing PvP games. Personally I play both. I like the PvP but there's not enough game modes to keep it interesting.

2 RepliesEdited by YahyaTV: 6/15/2015 4:39:23 AMThere are very few PvP only players, most people are either PvE only, or PvE&PvP. In my experience, all PvP players are good at PvE, but not all PvE players are good at PvP. I would consider myself as a good PvE player, and average PvP. It's funny when I see a PvE player in trials, with his Kell gear and 500 strength.

I love both but, I think that ToO is load of crap.
-
Somewhat
-
Almost everyone I play Destiny with plays PvP and PvE.

Edited by Kuronak: 6/15/2015 5:29:33 AMFor me it seems like the PVE players hate PVP and only play PVE. While those "PVP players" seem to play both just fine, myself included since I play both. The only thing bungie needs to do is to control their buffs/nerfs between PVP and PVE. For example, Last Word could use a buff for PVE, but not for PVP.
-
I enjoy both
-
11 RepliesI don't think your logic sucks, there definitely is a rift and it usually has to do with weapon nerfs and now the newly made lighthouse that everyone feels so entitled to. The main issue is that most purely PVE players are whiny, and most purely PVP players are try hard trolls. It doesn't take a lot of logic to know they're gonna argue.
-
The lighthouse and exotic banners have created quite the divide.
-
I love pvp i also love raids i play both. A lot of the pvp players i know also smash pve. I with 2 other pvp players were the go to sword guys also the reclic holders. Most pvp players can do pve quite well in my experience 😉 I definitely dont hate pve only guys
-
I'm bilingual, therefore i run both. Scrubs only run PoE.
-
I mostly play PvP but I do enjoy PvE. I don't hate on my PvE brethren. I think the most conflict I hear between the two is about weapon balance, which is natural because the stakes are high.
-
4 RepliesIt goes like this. People who are decent or enjoy pvp and pve both are chill It's the dudes who are beastly at pvp who hate on pve. The poor pvp players rep PVE and hate on pvp.
-
2.2 k/d 9 times flawless lighthouse, soloed flawless raider in 38 minutes. I play both. Just get more of a rush out of pvp.
-
I think it's because anyone can be good at PvE whereas it takes more skill to be good at PvP. I don't hate on anyone personally but I do find it hilarious that PvE players go into PvP endgame content and expect handouts haha
-
Nope. The real guardians fight the good fight no matter what the battleground is.
-
You're not alone I'm good at both and love both all my friends are the same.
-
1 ReplyI am a destiny player and I hate broccoli
-
I think PvP takes more skill, ToO is crazy intense.
-
Pvp players seem to be better in pve. I have seen good pve players that had poor stats in pvp. It's a one way street. I think pvp takes more skill. *full disclosure: I'm not good at either ha
