I'm sorry, but I can't do it. Destiny is my Nerdgasm..,but that's where it stops. For X sake people are getting married on that game?? That's super nerdy right there.
What does everyone think?
EDIT: And how the hell do some of you play ESO and Destiny? I mean I have three characters and do stuff and things in Destiny. Between that and life...??
EDIT: Some one just messaged me hate because they thought I should play ESO. And people are looking at my KD in Trials? Yall are smokin crack. Bunch of haters up in here.
EDIT: Here's what my post would look like if I tried to please everyone who replied: '[______]' lol. Bunch of nothing. Listen haters, it was entertaining enough for you to come and respond. Thx for stopping by!
EDIT: so this guy Greenskull has been private messaging me and actually sent me 2 voice psn VOICE messages telling me all kinds of nerdy profanity....why? You have some serious mental issues my friend.
EDIT: 649 responses. Maybe 11% are hate. Thanks to the other 89% who can take a joke lightly and comment in kind.

I haven't put destiny on since ESO release day but I put it on... Did a key quest and was given a key but just don't have the will or energy to go back to lfg.com to get teams. ESO is open world, character are all varied and with much more customisation and progression with your character doesn't just stop. There no fannying around on a computer to get a team in ESO either. I really, REALLY want Destiny to succeed though because the gameplay is amazing but its a community built game with seriously "WTF" omissions that really don't inspire confidence anymore. I'll still pop on now and again though and I'll look forward to hearing what unimaginative, hamster wheel pve content is coming out for it at E3...tbh, every dlc is underwhelming for Destiny. It's a bloody shame. It should be at least as good as any open world mmo since that's what we were all expecting.

Destiny is lucky to be started up on reset day anymore. I don't even bother with the nightfalls on all the characters anymore. Too little content spaced over to long.
-
After I got 3 34 I stopped playing. Picked up eso its been fun
-
Yup bye.
-
I play both. Granted I only play destiny on reset day for raids/weeklys/PoE an Friday's for trials but I prefer eso for most of my time. It's just s nerdy get away. P.s. You only marry other players for the 10% exp buff :D

The -blam!- is eso?
-
Why not? I loved playing destiny but ESO is so much more appealing to me and there actually is a story line plus tons of other side quests to do. Tamriel is freaking huge! So much exploration and things to do there. The game won't kill Destiny but I'm definitely going to be playing ESO more. Everybody can play whatever game that suits them
-
I love eso. I didn't even know you could get married on there. I love elder scrolls lore. I love games that can tell a story. The only reason I play destiny is because of my friends. I'd hate it if they didn't play it.
-
Eso is a fantastic break from destiny for most. I planned to play eso since I first heard about it. Destiny was a great experience but it has niggles with me not saying I think it's bad because I wouldn't have invested 500 hours into the game if it was. Eso doesn't have them from what I have seen so far. • area voice chat works very well • world is explorable and populated • elderscrolls lore > anything else • massive multiplayer People told me I would hate this game and waste my money but every second I have played it I have enjoyed. I doubt I will come back to destiny unless the expansion is top quality. I expected HOW to maybe have some new campaign stuff but it did lack if you are brutally honest. I ran these maps 1000 times before did they think I wouldn't recognise the places just because it's back to front. If you love destiny keep on trucking it's a great game.
-
I'm actually intrigued by eso. I heard a lot of bad stuff initially but I read some articles and watched some streams to get an idea of what it's about. I am actually tempted to try it out it really seems like it'd be pretty fun. I'm just not sure if I want to put the time in like I did for destiny lol.
-
There are a lot of games I would love to play but I stick with destiny because it entertains me for a few hours a day and then I can move on to other responsibilities, if I started playing witcher 3 there is waaay too much content for me to put it down, kind of like what happened with skyrim

Bungie should look at the reasons people are leaving and sort it out: http://www.reddit.com/r/elderscrollsonline/comments/39qwt2/like_others_this_game_broke_my_destiny_addiction/
-
Eso is amazing. It has the mmo aspects that Bungie failed to put into destiny. BUT Destiny still has my attention when I'm not playing Eso. Destiny has such smooth gameplay (only thing it has going for it.)

Try something new destiny bored rigth now...

Edited by TheTommieC: 6/14/2015 1:46:52 PMMy girlfriend moved to ESO, while I went to Witcher 3. I haven't abandoned Destiny, nor do I think I would, just taking a couple days off.
Witcher 3, loving the story telling.
Our clan still plays a lot of Destiny, but have moved to doing more ESO only because we can all play together on new content. We meet up there and every so often three will go off to do a trials run or a POE then come back to play with the group on Elder Scrolls. Just makes me sad Destiny didn't have any new six man activities.
-
A game where we won't have to do the same mission again unless we make a new character, gaining new rewards with a fair possibility of great rewards. Or a game where we do the same mission multiple times everyday, with multiple characters, gaining old rewards with the excruciatingly slim possibility of new rewards. Even I'm tempted to play ESO. In fact, I probably will.
-
Why not? Destiny's been out for about 9 months and the core of the game - doing same stuff all over again - has not changed. Anything that can be seen has been seen, and if a certain activity proves too hard for the average guy, he/she will most likely leave it alone at this point. Any new game that offers many hours of gameplay is a welcome thing for many.
-
I agree. What's with it
-
Nope, Destiny only when I have time to play. Eight kids the other 90% of the day and I read here during their naps and such. Before anyone comments, yes I am a stay at home dad. I am also a disabled Veteran.
-
ESO in my opinion is terrible Proof is that it went from sub sciption to one time payment cause no one wanted to pay the money to play a pile of shiz.
-
Maybe we simply enjoy both games, and when we're bored of one...we play the other. Destiny is a good solid game, but it's becoming unrewarding. Maybe when the next dlc comes out I'll be more interested. I just hope it's not really 40 dollars?
-
The graphics look horrible
-
Right now there's a ton of players on eso which makes it very attractive. Destiny is good but the cheat wagon is a little out of control at the moment.
-
What the fùck is wrong with these forums. Jesus Christ it's like 70% shitposts now.

I find it funny how when I don't play destiny for like 5 days I feel like I went cold turkey lol
