People Are Moving to ESO... W. T. F.
I'm sorry, but I can't do it. Destiny is my Nerdgasm..,but that's where it stops. For X sake people are getting married on that game?? That's super nerdy right there.
What does everyone think?
EDIT: And how the hell do some of you play ESO and Destiny? I mean I have three characters and do stuff and things in Destiny. Between that and life...??
EDIT: Some one just messaged me hate because they thought I should play ESO. And people are looking at my KD in Trials? Yall are smokin crack. Bunch of haters up in here.

I have both and I really liked Skyrim, but I tried getting into ESO and I don't think it's my cup of tea.

5 RepliesI'm playing both. Not as much Destiny as before, but most of my online friends have moved on as well, so it's harder to do the non-match made group events (Nightfall, PoE above 28, etc). I received 3 new exotic chest armor pieces this past week and have only finished leveling up one of them (Purifier Robes). I tend to jump on to Destiny first and run through the easy/quick bounties to level up gear collected over the past few weeks, then switch over to ESO. On ESO I'm at level 11 after only a short amount of play time. I'm already out of inventory space on my character and in the bank. Go figure!!! At least I have my guild bank I can dump stuff into as well. Still saving up for my horse....I'm a little over half-way there. Comparisons: - ESO graphics and frame rate cannot compare to Destiny - Destiny's story (or lack of it) cannot compare to ESO - No FPS in ESO (no guns) - ESO has a wealth of missions, yet all are about the same - go here, press a button, get things, come back - go there, kill someone, get something, come back - Destiny has a much smaller list of missions and bounties and there is no variation, just endless repeats - You can explore the ESO world and get rewarded for your efforts - no such thing in Destiny - ESO has crafting to build weapons, armor, etc - Destiny has unlocking/leveling up weapons and gear Overall, they are both enjoyable, but if you just want to jump in and kill some bad guys Destiny is the game to play. If you want to spend a few hours running around exploring and doing semi non-repetitive missions, then ESO is what I'd choose. This fall it's going to be worse with Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront in the wings. Those will be sucking up most of my solo and online gaming time.

ESO>Destiny ESO doesnt feel like a grind bc your actually doing different quests (Sure some of them are similar) and you always find new gear/weapons/new places to explore with friends.. After 10 months of destiny i can finally say im done doing. The. Same thing. Over and over.

you do know most people play more than one game right? I love both ESO and Destiny. Not much to do in Destiny any more so I spend most of my time on ESO. Have all pre-DLC exotics and most of the HoW exotics now too. DO nightfalls and PoE every week and maybe a couple raids to help people, but other than that its ESO al the way. Some people like FPS games and some like RPGs. All in what you like to do and how you like to do it. Until the Taken King drops there will be a lot of people splitting their time between Destiny and other games. Just not enough content to keep people locked into Destiny for that long.

Tried ESO, it's more of a casual game for me. I enjoy the concept and exploring the open world is cool. I was back to destiny in 3 days though.

Eso is so much fun, there is lot more to do than destiny. I love destiny, but Im already bored with HoW. I'll be taking a break until taken king. Not to mention fallout 4 in november.
