it’s rare for anyone to ask if you have a degree.
That's the kind of info that would have made me actually listen to my guidance counselor. Well he did say that I could be a forklift operator. I guess they don't need a degree either.

I love these and yet hate them at the same time. I am really interested in game design and what everyone does. But every time I read one of these articles I feel guilty that I am not practicing making maps (my career goal).
-
for these 'breaking in' things, are they going to interview anyone who's been there longer than a month or two?
-
I love that screen shot! Thank goodness I don't have his job because all my characters would look like they have to take a crap or something. I think it would be pretty hard making character movements. [Edited on 12.19.2008 8:21 AM PST]

He is a fellow hoosier so he is cool in my books.
Posted by: Noah Bordner My main inspirations growing up were anything CG (Jurassic Park, Toy Story), classic anime films (Akira), the concept art for the games I loved, and the sense of timing and humor that had been hard-wired into my brain from watching endless Warner Bros. cartoons..
You... My dear sir, are full of win. (Mostly for Akira ^_^) I demand an animation of the Chief smashing a grunts skull with his bare hands (and/or the assistance of a wall). :Evil-but-still-ever-delightful smile:

Very nice picture. Keep up the good work urk.
-
Yeah that is cool.
-
Animators need to improve their perception of movement. No-one in reality twitches every six steps, no-one! Only joking, but I've seen it happen.
-
Pretty cool. It's really cool getting an insight at what some of the people do and how they got in contact with Bungie.
-
Seems just as cool as me and my bnet name
-
Nice one, great interview!!
-
