Claim Thorn needs to be nerfed and everyone loses their mind (and tells you to "git gud"). Seriously though, Suros had nowhere near the Kill times that Thorn does now (and for a rough estimate on this, I've seen it kill people using Jolder's Hammer against the wielder in the same time). Not to mention the fact that you can efficiently get 2 shot kills(with precision damage) at optimal sniper ranges. Throw in the fact that some teams have them equipped to all players makes this fact even worse. Add in DoT to all this and it honestly makes it one of the most powerful primaries at this moment. Now, I honestly tried not to jump on the "Let's nerf Thorn bandwagon" but it's pretty ridiculous when this is more used than either Suros or Vex ever was. Even TLW and Red Death are put aside for this weapon (I have only been killed a few times with each of these weapons and have actually seen people change to thorn just because they were losing). Have your delusions that Thorn is fine all you want, but there is a problem when almost no one is using other weapons in crucible due to it's power. Edit: For the people thinking that I am either whining or can't counter it. I can, but people could counter Vex and Suros in their prime and there were reason they were deemed over-powered. Thorn is a lot less rare and has a lot more going for it than either of those weapons and I actually listed the reason's why it's OP. Listing an actual complaint doesn't mean you are whining. Whining would just stating it broken/OP without giving an actual argument. Edit 2: I am all for having the weapons buffed as well. As it stands the only weapon I NEVER see used in crucible is scout rifles (I maybe die from a MMT every once in a blue moon. Either way, no one weapon should rule crucible period.
