Bump, just recently get a job, and i have to leave home at 2:pm, and don't get off work and back home till 11:45pm, and so I'm not able to get much playtime in a single session. This feature, checkpoints, would really help!

Bump. A hundred times. Some of us have jobs and children to tend too. Can't be stuck on a single round for two hours then look at the clock realizing it's 4am.

Exactly, I'm guessing bungie hasn't done this yet because ( I think) a majority of their player base is/are younger teenagers, and little kids.
