Expansion transfer PS3 to PS4?
I primary play on my PS4, but from time to time I play with some family on my PS3.
I want to buy the Expansion Pack (I, II) but don't want to buy it 2 times if I don't have to.
I have read that, once you could upgrade the Last-Gen Digital copy and Expansion to Next-Gen version. But not the other way around.
But I can't find if that's still the case.
So, I can get the Expansion pack I and II for both PS3 and PS4, and only need to pay for it once?
If so, which Console do I buy it for first?
And how do I redeem the Expansion packs for the other console?

1 ReplyHello mjzero. If you buy the Expansion Packs or Expansion Pass on the PS3 first, you will be able to play it on the PS4 for free. This only works going from PS3 to PS4 but not the other way around. You only need to buy the expansions once if you get it on PS3 first.
