Let's try and give an honest response to Bungie on this one. I like Destiny and want to see it last, I'm just hoping that they decide my money spent on their product gives me the right to access all their content even with my lifestyle.
This might deliver a better picture to not only Bungie, but also the community about where things stand.
EDIT 1: Changed the title to reflect optional instead of just matchmaking.
EDIT 2: There has been some great feedback so far, but I was hoping for more from those actually opposed to matchmaking than "good riddance crybabies". This is NOT a post about leaving the game, this is a post about where the community stands.
Thanks for all the feedback so far, it seems that matchmaking is not the deciding factor in future purchases for most, but definitely a contributor. What this tells me is that adding OPTIONAL matchmaking would add to the perceived value, especially for those like myself that have never been able to even get through VoG.
I think that's something to consider Bungie.
EDIT 3: So the announcements have been made. $40, new missions(supposedly several), new raid, new crucible maps, new area, no new planet...? Still no matchmaking, in game lfg, or private matches.
So where do you stand now?
Please like and bump to get this trending so that Bungie and others can see the results as well.

Thanks so much for all the feedback so far. From the looks of it we have had over 100 people vote on this poll. When I change my vote the percentage doesn't change even 1%. I just want to clarify this is not an "add matchmaking or else" post. I was genuinely curious how important matchmaking is to the community. The majority seem to be of the same mind as I am. Matchmaking will only add to the perceived value of the game.
