When will religion finally die out?
Most likely not in my lifetime unless there is a definitive scientific discovery that disproves all gods, and not even theists can deny it. It will happen eventually though, the amount of atheists is climbing, and people are slowly leaving that bullshit behind. Not fast enough though..
It was born out of ignorance, but will die through knowledge.

1 ReplyReligion has been around for centuries, it has caused conflicts and separation among many different groups of people. It had inspired people as well as destroyed people. Their is nothing wrong with believing in a higher power, but I often think the concept of religion is a give and take relationship. If you do not believe what I say and serve me, here are the list of repercussions. Its almost a scare tactic. Religion also can cause close mindedness to a situation, where an open minded person may be able to see both sides of an argument, a religious person may not. Because it's such an emotional concept to people, it may never die. Even if every scrap of our world was to disappear, the next generation will find something to believe in.
