Well then you cant get to 34. You have to do 34 to get to 34... Not well thought out.

 • Not true. You can get to level 34 without having the DLC. It just takes longer, which I prefer. It seems most people don't

 • So, what your saying is you would rather grind through 3 nightfalls each week and hope that you get a tiny bit of luck to help you level up, instead of shell out 15$ so your life is a lot easier. Thank heavens you don't work for bungie, and everyone considers this concept garbage.

 • Lol don't be a faggot dude. These are just ideas. I even changed the reward system in my post to fit what everyone prefers. But yes I would rather it take longer to get to he highest level. It keeps the game interesting for longer.

 • Agreed. I got the game right around the time The Dark Below came out and up until the release of House of Wolves, I still only had 1 32, 1 31 and 1 30. Within a week and a half of House of Wolves release and I've gotten all my previous characters not only to 32, but all of my characters to 34. I have all my main exotics and legendary weapons to 365 and I have almost all of the new exotic and legendary items, except for Trials gear. There's just nothing really left to do at this point, no raids to grind for shards at the very least or bounties to grind or engrams to farm. Drop rates are too high, costs are too low. Everyone has perfectly rolled weapons and it's just lost a lot of it's "pzazz"

 • This is exactly it. I was stoked when I got my 32 because I grounded for over a month just to get from 31-32. It was a great accomplishment. Since HoW, my playing time has decreased because I know hat soon I won't have much to do at all. I'm been trying to delay hitting level 34 on my Titan. It's a tough position for bungie though because a lot of players prefer the ease of the new system.

 • Which is sad. I heard that Bungie also just took a big chunk of it's staff off Destiny development and content creation, etc... and have a third party group helping out instead, meaning they are slowly taking the eggs out of the basket. Instead of -New Raids -Brand New Strike Missions -Harder Difficulties for Current Raids -New Subclasses -New Classes -New Races -New Loot for These Harder Difficulties -New Worlds -New Areas/Zones on Earth/Moon/Venus or Mars to explore -New Enemies *Not Just explosive shanks, shanks with vandal sniper rifles attached* -New and more Vibrant NPC's. -Instead of every Story Mission coming from Ikora, Eris, and Petra, have varying missions handed out by other NPC's. -Have "side missions" that can only be accomplished during some parts of the story. Have an NPC offer up a mission with an objective and by talking to another NPC, he may give you conflicting orders for the same target, which could boost the Reputation towards the NPC/Faction you choose to help and slightly lower the ones you don't help/betray. -Varying Enemy AI -Varying Spawn Locations -New Commons, Uncommons and Rares *That can be good for low levels and even some insanely rare "Rare Weapons" that could drop with incredible perks. I've posted about this in the past. -Armor and Weapon Sets with Unique Perks, Stats and Lore that stack up the more of the set you wear. *The closest thing you have is VoG and Crota Armor Sets* -New and diverse lore Weapons, Armors and Items. Such as, *Husk of the Pit* which remains as the only real Lore Item that you can find and upgrade. These types of things add so much depth to the game. -A real drop system that rewards you for fighting harder monsters. A level 1 Thrall should not have the same drop rate as a Level 34 Cabal Phalanx. It incentive-vises taking short cuts, killing as few difficult monsters as you can and rushing purely to the end of Strikes, Missions and Raids. -Like the above, their should be more "Unique Monsters" in the game world. Not just Majors and Ultras, but more Randal the Vandals and monsters that patrol the world and don't spawn on a predictable timer in a predictable spawn in a predictable area. Give these "Hero" monsters higher drop rates and their own loot tables that involve items you can't get elsewhere. They could drop the Lore Items "Husk of the Pit" type items, etc.... I could keep going and going. The games got the foundation to be AMAZING, great gun play and it plays very smooth, but it's potential is being wasted and it's truly sad.
