There is a disturbing trend to PoE right now. [b][u]Every[/u][/b] post for a group on LFG sites has "must hav max gjallarhorn" or something to that affect. This was a rare occurrence, but occurred nonetheless, for Crota's End. Viewing the popular YouTuber channels has revealed one consistent trend. Every PoE strategy video highlights the gjallarhorn quick kill method, rarely do they actually go into detail about the actually fight without gjallarhorn. This sets a precedent to the community. Why try when you can 30-40 seconds success? Monkey see, monkey do. Edit: I would like to clarify that I am not against the gjallarhorn tactic nor am I saying down with the gjallarhorn tactic. I'm saying that these youtubers/streamers are the pro athletes for Destiny. Back when I was a kid everyone wanted to be like Mike, this is no different than with youtubers and streamers. Not everyone has been blessed, like I have, by RNGesus and has a gjallarhorn. There are many being left out due to the imitation game. I don't think these youtubers understand that their videos lead to a prejudice in the game.
