Deej "We just believe that social connections in the game make the overall experience better."
Guardian: We agree with you completely Deej.
Deej: "There are many good applications for matchmaking in Destiny."
Guardian: Again we agree completely. So much so we would like them in game so they are even easier to access.
Deej: "Our designers feel very strongly that endgame activities rely on a team that is acquainted with itself."
Guardian: We totally agree with your designers. In game matchmaking, like in game LFG, would help us build teams even more effectively due to the convenience and ease of use. Initial meetings lead to friendships and lasting teams.
Deej: "Your feedback has been heard, so there's no telling how Destiny might change in the future. In the immediate term, I see a lot of people who are talking about a need for teammates."
Guardian: We appreciate being heard this gives us faith in Bungie and confidence Destiny will evolve and improve over time.
Deej: "However, it is not that simple."
Guardian: Huh? WotchusayinDeej !
Deej: "At current, our philosophy about endgame content is that part of the challenge includes forming up a team. This is a strong community filled with players who are looking for teammates."
Guardian: Ok let us get this straight. You are saying there is no technical barrier to adding matchmaking to Destiny. We get this as match making is already in Destiny. What you are saying is end game is more fun when we have to form teams to do the hard stuff. AWESOME we totally agree. That is why we love to use LFG. It's fun to meet new folks, fight together, friend up and play some more hard stuff. LFG is kind of like a meet and greet party. We want LFG and its matchmaking features even more accessible, we want it in game integrated with the party functions of XB and PS so we can match make, meet folks, fight together, friend up and then play the hard stuff in teams. Think of it Deej - more and more teams, a bigger Community, more player, Destiny grows and Bungie folk make heaps ;)
Deej: "Why not seek each other out here and band together?
Guardian: We keep agreeing - it seems the issue is really that you and your designers want us to do it the way you did when you were our age - like you did in TGS. Its just that the world has changed since you started, we prefer our way to band together in game.
How about it Deej - let's stop the philosophical fussin' and give us the tools we need to hook up our way. It leads to exactly to same result - time to hand over the car keys Dad ;)

Yeah, they basically say use matchmaking. But they aren't going to give us the simplest, quickest, and smartest way to match. One more reason to drive us out of the game to a .net site.

Bump There is no good or logical reason not to have it. Lfg is essentially the exact same thing. Hook up with randoms and play. Why not just have this in the game.
