Quodron is impossible?
This is the most poorly designed fight I've ever seen. Endless adds, instant death fields, a single enemy that you have to kill at exactly the right time or auto wipe. Seriously? This fight is absolute garbage.

6 RepliesWe did it with two 34's and a 33.5. One Of each character. Titan throws bubble with blessing. Everyone dodges in and out of bubble firing Gjallarhorns. Make sure Titan defender class has bastion selected and it helps if he has glass house helmet. The bastion selection and glass house make the bubble last longer. If qodron kills everyone with just a little Heath and cast containments. Warlock self- resurrects and finishes him. That's the way we did it last night.

Ads are a little bullet spongy but the mechanics of the fight are excellent. Challenging and requires communication and teamwork and everyone doing their part. Something we didn't get to experience with crota. A lot of players haven't done glass so they are used to an actual challenge.

Lol @ how easy people give up. If you tried more you would notice the Eye and that there are pretty long breaks in add spawn if you kill them all. Overall a pretty easy boss...

Beat it second try on my first ever 34 arena lol so easy and nobody had jelly

Not really it was hard, but we got it done. I went in lvl 33 on my defender Titan. I don't know if we would have been able to do it if i was on my hunter or warlock.

1 ReplyDid it 2 Times with ghorn and then the third time as its supposed to be done. Not that hard, its all about timing. We only wiped a few times when we missed the shiny goblin. We were on the left side.

Did it two ways. Ghorn nuke method and the right side method. We had a Titan equip universal remote, shotgun, and a rocket launcher. He was in charge of killing ads and the eye. Myself and other guardian would snipe/rocket the boss. We would call out the eye whenever we saw him and then group up behind the rock wall when the detainment bubbles would appear.

No. It's pretty easy if you know what you're doing. To break the jails easily, just stand all the three together, so the jails are putted together too. If the three guardians shoot the jails, they are easily broken. The far left side of the arena is a good place to do this, it has a lot of cover. Or you three can simply put a ward of dawn with weapons of light, use three gjallarhorns, and be happy.

with two 34s minimum this battle is possible, not very easy but not very hard with no gally, we spend betwen 10-15 min to kill qodron in this condition. 1 people with shotgun (we use found verdict) kill blue Vex and destroye bubble, 1 people kill ads and shoot boss when he can. 1 people shoot boss all the time. If you have Titan, use weapon of light when you can. For me i use Hunter with new Exotic helmet to get X6 gunslinger dammage. If my mates with shotgun don't have time to kill blue vex, i use my special to destroye my bubble and save my teammates.

Post up on the right and kill all adds but leave one Qodron's eye at low health. Then Burn the boss until he gets ready to detain. Have one guy kill the eye for jailbreaker. Group up and he should easily be able to break the shields. Rinse. Repeat. Edit: also, if you are having trouble with too much adds, you are killing the boss too quickly. Adds only spawn at different health increments. Wipe all of the adds. Then burn the boss. Then wipe the adds. Then burn the boss. It's not that hard.

Bungie stopped making game level from being difficult to being unfair because people keep on soloing their hardest challenge.

This is actually easy for me. I did this twice again to complete my elder cipher bounty. Not hard when you know what your doing

Not impossible, but there are things that can cause issues. The main one I kept running in to was the eye of quodron would spawn too late, not at all, or at the other side of the map. That being said, bring invective (or a good full auto shotgun) or Thunderlord and when it says "Quodron is searching for targets" group together and face the same direction and fire. You all break the bubbles faster than if you were firing alone.

We ran to the right, my friend focused only on the boss, said he used Black Hammer and rockets. I focused on the minions, weakened the eye thing, when search came up I quickly killed the eye, we huddled together behind the rock and I used my shotgun to break our shields, it also helps if friend shoots to weaken the shields, breaks them faster. We beat it our first try with this strategy. I actually had fun trying to figure it out. It also takes a while for minions to respawn if you kill them all, also leaves the eye thing in the open by itself, making it easy to kill.

Just have one guy with invective or icebreaker its not bad....

Kill the adds. They don't spawn after a certain while. Just one person has to focus on the eye. GIT GUD. It's not hard at all.
