Quodron is impossible?
This is the most poorly designed fight I've ever seen. Endless adds, instant death fields, a single enemy that you have to kill at exactly the right time or auto wipe. Seriously? This fight is absolute garbage.

Did it for the first time on my hunter no wipe. It wasn't hard at all lol.

well you could do it one of two ways. spawn in, gjallahorn, move onto the loot chest. OR go to the left, find the goblin (comes right to you from the vex gate.) Shoot the boss a bit, have 1 player with a shotgun get the buff by killing the goblin, drop the shields, rinse and repeat. its not really impossible by any means, you just can't get an easy fight like crota every expansion. calm down kid.

The fight is challenging, but at this level of the game it's welcome, imo. I managed to get it done last night with a couple friends, no gjally cheese, and it took us 2 hours to get it down. In the end we felt like we accomplished somthing and that's why we play the game anyway. If it was easy we would be bored with it in no time. This is just my opinion.

No it's not impossible. It just takes same communication and team work is all. So many people complained that all bosses are just "run in and shoot with gally" types. These Poe bosses take a bit more team work to conquer. It's simply just harder bosses than before.

It's in no way impossible, but I agree it's way too hard, mainly because of adds. Bungie just loves throwing adds at us instead of designing unique game mechanics...

Did it on my second try after learning the mechanics the first time. It's not too difficult.

I agree. Changes needs to be made to this boss, atleast everyone should get that buff to kill them shields. If you are damaged going into the shield you're -blam!-ed! But I only managed it because my team all had gallys... Feel kinda sorry for other people

7 RepliesI understand your frustration. I actually like the design of the fight, but the mechanics need to be a little more forgiving. I think buff for the whole team and the buff lasting for a min would make this a less punishing fun fight

5 RepliesYour joking right? It's the best designed PoE boss, it ACTUALLY HAS MECHANICS AND REQUIRES TEAMWORK! Unlike the Cabal boss who is just another bullet sponge with a regenerating shield, this one actually requires skill and I would compare him to a MINI raid boss! I like Quodron because he helps reveal the real Destiny players, he separates the ones who just know how to Gally spam and the ones who are skilled at the game and understand teamwork! He separates the boys from the men if you will ;) [spoiler]he is one of the few bosses done right ;)[/spoiler]

It's is terrible. Spent over 3 hours just on Quodron and we were all tired. Went back two days later and beat the whole thing in under 1 hour. The trick was one guy dedicated to the eye and breaking the shields. We would than Gally the hell out him. Repeat. It was surprisingly effective. Also, stay left.

One thing is true about this fight: [b]It is not difficult.[/b] Now, let me translate that: [b]This fight is not difficult as long as you meet a very specific set of requirements, the lack of any of which will make you wipe over and over until you quit and throw yourself down a flight of stairs in frustration.[/b] This encounter is ridiculously hard if you aren't the right level, don't have the right weapons (yes, there are "the right weapons", I've read the list over and over in countless posts) and aren't playing with players who you know intimately and can almost read their thoughts. Otherwise, just don't even try it.

Oh ffs, just get out, no one actually cares if a bunch of scrubs cannot finish a fight. It isn't hard, use your brain and figure out how the mechanics work. Also, fights aren't supposed to take 5 minutes, it's 34 PoE arena match, it's meant to be a challenge.

these 34 s just require a few runs to learn the trick. get a good jailbreaker and it's not bad
