To people complaining about 'Lighthouse' access
Many of us dedicated PVP players used our time to get good at that which is the Crucible. Just like many of you RAID gods took the time to wreck PvE content.
I have no Shame in saying that I'm useless at RAIDS and PvE ... Even to this day I still don't know how to run VoG half decently without being carried. And I just got pulled through PoE not long ago albeit I'm actually not that bad at it though.
It's fair to say that I didn't deserve my raid rewards at all... I really didn't but I was lucky enough like many others to be carried through them. And YOU are lucky if you get a team to carry you through to the lighthouse. BUT if you really can't get there you just simply... Don't deserve it. You will have to be carried unfairly just like I was through the RAIDS.
Please people just stop complaining and realise that some players don't deserve to get PvE loot either. And got carried through it just like YOU can be carried through ToO....If you're still not convinced then gaming has really gone down hill from back in the day. That is all.

Yeah but most pvp's don't want to help people out, I have all the time in the world to help a brother out on raids on the weekends. Some percentage of both groups could see this as beneficial to each other and not the other way around. I went 9-1 on the first day after that it's just been a pain in the rear...

1 Replywell you probably have to still be somewhat skilled with pvp for ToO carry to happen. I don't think you can be completely carried like in Raids when it comes to pvp content, you have to at least be able to hold your own ground so your other two teammates can pick up your slack easier.

8 RepliesI really hate the fact that Bungie has made trials the way they have. It suffers the same problem as league play in LoL, CoD and CSGO, everyone uses the most powerful champions and guns respectively. It takes the fun out the game when everyone uses Thorn, the Vex, Hawkmoon and Red Death. I feel as though people are annoyed that they are being forced to use these guns instead of being able to utilise the games plethora of other weapons and having fun with them just because they can't compete with the elite tier weapons.

8 RepliesSo you admit that you're trash at pve/raids and got gear that you didn't earn but then mock the people who complain that they are struggling to get to the lighthouse and want gear that they can't earn because they lack the skill ( just like you with raids/pve) to get there. Sounds a little hypocritical. I think that everyone should be able to get there for completing their card but the best rewards go to the flawless guys. I also think it should be legit flawless. 9 straight wins without any buffs. ( if you're wondering if I've done it I have the emblem on my warlock and also went 9-1 on my hunter with no mercy buff).

You got to get lucky and find a good team. I have been practicing for over a month with my team. We were ready for ToO. Many teams didn't come prepared. There were teams of people using auto rifles I laugh thinking to myself they have been nerfed.

3 RepliesI'm actually pretty decent at both..have soloed crota and know all strats...also have gone flawless multiple times on ToO... Sign here if you are just generally good at the game..I actually give a lot of the credit to sports for helping my hand eye cordination

1 ReplyIt's honestly strange. Destiny's entire lifespan has included this ongoing argument about what constitutes "earning" something. Then along comes the lighthouse, which literally needs to be earned in every definition if the word. Of course it's going to be difficult to get there guys, that's how you know you deserve it when it finally happens.

I unfortunately got The Summoner with arc. I was hoping for the Jewel of Osiris honestly, but it was nice in the nightfall.
