A "real world" assault rifle can kill something at 300 yards with 1 shot. By comparison the ARs in Destiny are the cheap plastic pellet guns you buy at Walmart. Peltpeltpeltpeltpeltpelt...."gah $&#%, quit it already!" Yeah they need the 14% damage that got shaved off back.

But it seems like someone in Bungie has a personal vendetta against auto rifles so they just kept hitting them... It was so unnecessary... :/

Yet when you play Call of duty nobody bats an eye at a Ttk of 0.5 for every weapon. Hell, halo had low ttks if you used the weapon properly.
