Hey there, If you have gone through the guided Network Troubleshooting tips already, have you tried altering your current networking setup from WiFi to wired or vice versa? Also, the following steps can assist with isolating any potential networking issues: Turn off and unplug all networking devices other than your modem. Your network setup should be ONLY [Internet -> Modem -> Console] and any WiFi functionality for your modem should be turned off. Plug your console directly into the modem Ensure no other devices are plugged into the modem

  • My standard afternoon and evening of destiny... Baboon, cricket, baboon, baboon, banjo, baboon, baboon, cricket ...... Cue imminent frustrated howling...... So turn to crucible for stress relief... .... Lag, lag, killed by someone lagging, unload a full clip of last word at someone running into corner..... Zero hits....... Killed by someone not even there....... Get a kill (Christ knows how)......... Radar going berserk I'm pretty much surrounded..... No one there...... Dead. Respawn....... Run to a contact point ...... Contacting destiny servers...... Lag, lag, ...........killed by no one...... All characters red bar.......... Lag........ Killed....... Now just turning circles trying to even see a target.... Dead.... Re spawn. ........... Tag a warlock 5 times in air... None registered.... Killed by same warlock with full health and shields..... Re spawn..... Contacting destiny servers......... I'm starting to wonder why I'm even bothering..... And for gods sake don't try to tell me it's my connection. It was absolutely fine before HoW dropped and it's done. Nothing but get worse since. What the hell bungee I bought a season pass and for what? I'm getting a terrible experience and if it doesn't improve I'm not gonna bother with it any more. Its supposed to be a fun experience and it's getting me more stressed out tbh, which I defo don't need ! This is supposed to be my escape from work and stress and you're ruining it. Please fix it or you're gonna lose a customer.

  • I have the exact same issues on a wired connection that I do on WiFi. This is not a "me" problem, it's a Bungie server problem.

  • really.bungie? Me and two of my friends are one win away from going perfect in the trials and getting to unlock the special chest when two of us were disconnected from your terrible servers or some dbags ddosing and we had the mercy of osiris and it gets ignored. We really get penalized and denied the chance to get the chest?

  • I've done this / have been trying different things since yesterday morning. Still get constant disconnects. The closest I've been able to do is log in...run to Xur...then "contacting destiny server." And booted to Destiny screen. I was getting Centipede, Weasel, and Vulture...now I'm just getting Banjo over and over. I've tried port forwarding, direct connecting, and the DNS fix someone offered. Nothing works. Really frustrating on a weekend where I can actually play and all this new content is out!!!

  • I have tried your networking guide as well as disconnecting everything else in my home and doing the "internet>modem>console connection via wired connection. I am still receiving error codes SHEEP, BEETLE, BABOON, KINGFISHER, etc EVERY 5-10 minutes on average for the last week and a half (since last patch ) Please explain to me as well as all these other paying customers what else is expected of us. I've exhausted every method and platform, every one of them points to bungie.

  • I'm so POed right now bec, I'm getting kicked from the social space every 5 minutes. When I play the nightfall I can't see the walker while my fire members can. Enemies appear and disappear right in front of me. It's unbearable to play this game. I have received every error message possible. I've gotten OLIVE, BEE, and everything else. Tried prisoner of elders and its glitching so bad that we had to quit after 1 hour. I need someone from bungi to fix my issues because I can't play this game anymore, bec of the constant boots and glitches. I have ran every trouble shoot possible. I have rebooted router, restarted sytem, I've had Comcast come several times to trouble shoot and they say it's bungie bec my signal and speed are perfect. SOMEONE help

  • May I ask why I can play other games online then? Even Activision ones? My (our) Internet is fine. The error is on your side. For all people in this thread the problems started with the release of House of Wolves and your response is all our routers/Internet settings all simultaneously went haywire? Maybe the problem is with Bungie?
