Sorry if I seem dumb but I'm not really smart with this kind of stuff and I want to know.
Posted by: sporter08
Posted by: Tyler11799
Posted by: therepinedeluxe The REAL question is... How do they pee?
i thought the real question was when do they eat and how?
The real question is actually, how bad does it hurt when they get a b*ner?
They don't get them. Their bodies have been physically augmented so much that their drive is completely useless. Also, when in space they have a filter that cleans the air for a certain number of hours. I read it somewhere, I can't remember exactly how it works.
-
Also, to think about, in The Flood they mentioned Master Chief noticing the odor if the flood. They must have some type of air vents, that can be sealed and unsealed as need be. I know that the SPI armor has them.

Only questionable one I can think of is the Security helmet
What about E.V.A. or S.I.P. Spartans (I searched Wikipedia)?
There are breathers on the EVA helmet. idk what SIP are o_o
It's an armor permutation on the Ghosts of Onyx book cover. Sort of like E.V.A. but a bit different.
Oh, ok. Well, if you see anything along the lines of what you can see on the bottom of the EVA helmet, those are breathers. :3
Actually it's SPI Semi-Power Infiltration. The suits to have an limited air supply (mention in both Fall of Reach and Ghosts of Onyx. Also according to Ghosts of Onyx the faceplate can be opened.

They can keep their helmets on for 90 minutes at a time before having to remove them.
-
Posted by: PeaSoupJim They breathe through air filters in-atmosphere and have roughly 15 minutes worth of oxygen reserves in their armor for operations in zero-gee, if I remember correctly. They are not permanently encased, although they often are as they are usually deployed on a mission. They eat when they get a chance, and the problem of evacuation of waste from the armor system is never dealt with in any of the source material, as far as I know.
the only spot you are wrong on is that they have 90min not 15,and they dont have tanks, they use the filter system to turn what they exhale back into pure oxygen. also to the other guy its SPI armor not SIP just FYI
Posted by: HiddenProtocols
Posted by: Erre Dmiam3 air filters
Air filters? So they basically are alot more high tech in the helmet then they look?
Most likely.

The Fukin shoulder intakes! Haven't you been listening!?
Those things on his shoulders are air intakes with oxygen buffers. They feed pure oxygen into his helmet.
[Edited on 11.01.2008 4:26 PM PDT]
Posted by: Aussie Poisons You know how in Halo CE the Chief had little "slits" on his Mark V helmet? Those are the air filters. They're in a different location on the Mark VI armor though.
Do you know where it could be on the E.V.A. helmet? That one seems confusing.
Posted by: THE RUSSIAN Snp
No, it doesn't. Those things on his shoulders are air intakes with oxygen buffers. They feed pure oxygen into his helmet.
No, they are NOT for filtering farts. Contrary to popular belief.
Who said that? I'm a bit confused now.

Yeah, I read it. Now you please read at least the first novel before you question the water-tight story.
Posted by: THE RUSSIAN Snp
Will it take a monkey to get it through your thick head that they kind of are. They go through space you know. Remember? First level of Halo 2? Because I don't think you know how to read. Read the first post.
