No Land Beyond/Non Terrae Plus Ultra
-
thanks, all!
-
Edited by stephbib: 5/23/2015 4:01:15 PMIt's actually Latin. "finnis" being the adjective "end","last".. "terrae" being the plural of "terra" meaning "land"... wow.. my dad did tell me that my Latin classes 40some years ago would help me!
-
I think the terrae is the genitiive ending :) and singular
-
really? I seem to remember "rosa" , "rosarum", "rosarae"... like I said... LONG time ago! thanks! :-)
-
Unless it is a neutral noun to start with - they have messed up endings! Bellus = War is an example - Bellus, bellum, bellum.... '-arum' is always feminine plural genitive.
-
right... I remember now... that was the class where I was dodging blackboard brush tosses from the priest (teacher) damn... (oops,... he's probably listening somewhere.... I had a hell of a mouth then! :-) )

Yeah it is No Land Beyond. AFAIK, the Crux of Crota becomes "Essence de Crota" based on the YouTube video's I have watched.
-
Crux means Cross (the crux of something being at a crossroads) so would just be Crux Crotae

Edited by Glyph323: 5/23/2015 8:25:07 AMEnd of the World? It should be finis and literally means the 'end of the land' or 'land's end'
